# METAFISHING Background

![](/files/7GhUTPySXG72MQHsI6zo)

As global warming melts ice caps, sea levels rise, turning the world into a vast ocean.

Even so, human beings have survived, of course, it is not much better than the wasteland world after the nuclear war... Fresh water, food, activity space, everyone is limited to a square inch, surrounded by vast oceans.

Fortunately, part of the technology of the old era has been preserved, and people have gradually transformed into marine agriculture relying on the heritage of the old world. Players will play a fishing tycoon in this vast water world. Keep improving your equipment and catch hordes of fish. Collect and sell different kinds of fish to buy your own assets. Expand your land into a thriving old world city!

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://metafishing2022.gitbook.io/metafishing/metafishing-background.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
